DSC_0203 Hands of Hope worked with the Leilehua complex AVID program to distribute 99 Aloha buckets to homeless and disenfranchised youth throughout the central oahu area. AVID put together the buckets filled with toiletries, school supplies and other useful household and ch
ild friendly items and Hands of Hope brought the community groups together for distribution.

The AVID tDSC_0184eam was spearheaded by Wahiawa Elementary School and consist of:
Leilehua High School, Wheeler Middle School, Wahiawa Middle School,  Solomon Elementary School, Kaala Elementary School, and Wheeler Elementary School. Each of the schools received donations and constructed the buckets.Church on the Park (Haleiwa), Vineyard properties (Wahiawa), and Hands of Hope at Wahiawa District Park distributed the buckets of aloha throughout the central oahu area. Hands of Hope is a coalition of community churches who provide services to the indigent, convalescent, and
elderly in the central oahu area of Oahu.It’s goal is to give individuals a hand up to self-sufficiency through the ministry of Jesus ChristunnamedDSC_0187
